Split is a deeply personal film, which explores the inner world of children maneuvering through the often frightening and always life altering separation of their parents. Every day they have to deal with many difficult situations and dilemmas. 6-12 year old children come together to create the primary material for the film with personal stories, writings and animated drawings depicting their internal world as their external world radically changes.
