Swimming in the Desert

In the drought-stricken town of Agua Dulce, in the California High Desert, the river dries up because the bottled water company bought up underground water sources. The animals are gone, so are the residents. 10-year-old Angie believes her grandfather, a cranky retired firefighter, can save the situation. She challenges him to follow a crazy plan and bring the water back to the dry river.
