七股,位於台南沿海,有獨特的潟湖景觀,孕育了許多養蚵人家,《誰來晚餐》即將帶您拜訪一個養蚵家庭。黃翊誠是台大漁業科學研究所高材生,但碩士班只唸了一年就休學,放棄人人羨慕的最高學府,回鄉跟著阿公一起養蚵。沒想到人生從此轉彎,開啟一條創業之路。

翊誠2009年休學,阿公當時已經快八十歲,嘴上雖然說:「早知道要回來養蚵,書也不必唸那麼多」,但其實很欣慰,家裡的蚵田終於後繼有人。

翊誠也證實讀書還是有用的,他決定建立自己的通路,打破傳統的盤口制度, 先在網路上賣蚵仔、產地宅配直送,更到台南各地的夜市擺攤現烤生蠔,現在開餐廳,一路闖出「蚵男」名號。但這樣一條完全不同的創業之路, 需要家人的支持,才能做得起來。好像一粒蚵仔,需要緊密的連繫,才能串成一串。

翊誠的爸媽曾經因為經濟因素,到中國工作七年,翊誠休學回鄉養蚵的決心,像塊磁鐵,把爸媽吸回台灣,跟翊誠一起打拚。如今家人就像個團隊,各有分工,爸媽和阿嬤負責蚵田,還有魚塭的養殖,翊誠開了餐廳,妹妹也有自己的現烤生蠔店,從產地到餐桌,都是自家養殖的產品。翊誠說,家人對他來說,就像團隊,缺一不可,少了誰都不行。

翊誠因為回鄉養蚵,人生轉彎遇到愛。太太沛珊和和翊誠是小學同學,國中就到美國,一直在美國唸書和工作,卻在回台度假時,在夜市重逢擺攤的翊誠,最後漂洋過海嫁回台灣。兩人現在有三個女兒,分別是六歲,四歲和兩歲。翊誠形容自己住在女生宿舍,如果沒有回鄉養蚵,就不會遇到太太,更不會有三個可愛的女兒。
