東莒小女兒回家了

25歲的芷屏活潑愛笑，開起小巴士完全不見生澀，是曹家三女兒中唯一留在馬祖生活的小孩。芷屏白天幫爸媽經營民宿，落落大方；晚上幫忙洗腎的爸爸，軟硬兼施的逼老爸定時換液。

其實，跟姐姐們比起來，芷屏足足小了她們10歲，是媽媽張清二婚後，才和曹爸生下的小孩。小島過去封閉，後媽的身份曾讓媽媽足不出戶，也使她對芷屏非常嚴厲。姐姐們能做的事，芷屏一概不被准許，曾讓芷屏很自卑。

海味解鄉愁

馬祖靠海，大海就是馬祖人的冰箱，媽媽張清剛嫁來馬祖心情不好時，常常拿籃子去海邊撿扇貝螺類，打發時間看看大海，心情也就豁然開朗。而嫁到台灣的大女兒尹齊，總覺得台灣的海鮮有一種土味，不夠新鮮！思念家鄉菜的她，跟爸媽和姑姑們哭訴，逼得家人常常寄冷凍海鮮來，尹齊還因此添購了一個冰箱，專門放她的家鄉味。

馬祖冬天寒冷，島人口味重鹹重油，尤其習慣喝老酒去寒，菜菜入老酒，而尹齊也如法炮製，有時候請婆婆煮雞湯，盛到自己的碗中時再狂倒老酒，一解她的思鄉之愁。

回鄉或離家

芷屏即使承受照顧爸爸的壓力、擔任媽媽的情緒出口，她依然對家庭充滿熱情，芷屏知道媽媽一路上承受許多壓力，曾說世界上想保護的人就是媽媽。

去年在馬祖東莒國小畢業典禮上，連一個畢業生都沒有，離島少子化的問題，凸顯少有年輕人願意留在小島生活。爸媽既依賴芷屏，也暗自擔心兩老是不是耽誤了女兒的發展。但芷屏還是希望用她自己的方式陪伴爸媽，為家人和自己尋找她心目中理想的幸福。

Introduction

Like most parents on outlying islands, Uncle Rong and his wife have watched all their kids leave for the mainland in search of work to build a better life. To entice their youngest daughter Jhih-ping to settle down in her hometown, the outlying island of Dongju, Uncle Rong has built her a brand-new B&B. This is Jhih-ping’s third year back home after graduating from college. She loves island life but maintaining a long-distance relationship with her boyfriend is taking its toll. In today’s episode, we meet 25-year-old Jhih-ping, as she finds herself torn between her aging parents and her boyfriend. Jhih-ping only planned to come home for a while to help with the family B&B, but with her father’s sudden health deterioration, can she bear to leave? In her heart of hearts, she wants to settle down and raise kids on Dongju, but her boyfriend is dead set on living in Taiwan, so what will happen? Will she realize her dream life on this idyllic little island, or will she face the fate of all her peers and be forced to leave?
