Introduction

Panay is her Amis name meaning rice grains. She left home for work to provide for the family. When she returned for the sick father, the once beautiful Hualien has turned from golden fields to hotels and bus parking lots. Facing lots of challenges, Panay decided to stay fighting for her lovely hometown and to rebuild the terraced paddy fields. |
