To promote TICFF’s films to a profound and broader application, PTS installed “TICFF Post-Festival Promotion and Pre-Festival Initiatives” in 2018. In the second half of the year, the Festival collaborated its efforts with PTS+, the OTT platform of PTS Taiwan, in setting up “Online Children’s Cinema”. After each edition of TICFF, acclaimed quality productions of the year and PTS international co-produced children’s programs will be updated to the designated section for people to access online freely. Meanwhile, TICFF worked with professionals in designing corresponding teaching materials for each selected film. By providing teachers with the bundled teaching materials and free access to these quality children’s films on PTS+, film education will soon solidify its foundation in every kid’s campus and family.

The Day I Became Strong Series
“The Day I Became Strong” is a series of international co-productions collecting strong stories of strong children from around the world. Despite the different backgrounds and cultures, we have all once owned that familiar courage and resilience when facing the challenges in life.
FACES How I survived being bullied
A vast collection of 2-minute testimonies from all over the world, the NHK-initiated co-production acts against bullying on a global scale. Bullying is a social problem in every culture. If we come together and share our experiences, we can attain an objective view of the current state of the problem.
Kids As Directors: Taiwanese Workshops
“Kids as Directors” project, which was founded with the first edition of the festival in 2004. This project gives young kids a chance to display their creativity, encouraging them to take the lead and create their own works. In the past editions, several outstanding productions have won their recognition in various international film festivals.
