Searching for the Silver Lining

37-year-old Chen Ya-ting, aka Pomelo, and her 34-year-old brother, Ali, have experienced more than their fair share of dark clouds in life.

Growing up without parents, at fourteen, Pomelo was sexually assaulted and chose to run away from home, while Ali drifted into Taiwan's gang culture.

In this episode, we discover what it means to grow up without a sense of home or the love of parents; how Ali has turned his life around and is giving back to society; and why despite Pomelo's resentment and pain from being abandoned by her mother, life seems to have the habit of repeating itself.
