Andrew個性務實，做事一板一眼，講求效率。這位英國男不知悉台灣風土民情，常為了錦鯉的定價事和老婆Nikki意見不合，他和Nikki也有些生活上的小摩擦。漁場經營需要資金，而資金的借貸讓他背負了很深的人情債。

婚前的Nikki是個隨興自在的快樂少女，她從小在雲林土庫被親族長輩們疼愛長大，Nikki很小時就失去母親，帶她長大的姊姊尤其像護身符，經常幫Nikki家解除經濟危機，但這卻成為老公Andrew的壓力源。
