隨著假訊息的迅速擴散與不斷演變，全球媒體的可信度正面臨前所未有的挑戰，民主制度也因此受到嚴峻衝擊。作為公眾可信賴的資訊守護者，公共媒體肩負著抵禦假訊息、促進社會真實對話的重要使命。在此脈絡下，2025公視國際研討會以「重建信任：事實查核的藝術與實踐」為主題，匯聚國內外專家共同探討對抗假訊息的創新策略。

本次研討會邀請到日本放送協會（NHK）、歐洲價值安全政策中心、德國聯邦政治教育中心、無國界記者組織、台灣事實查核中心與人工智慧實驗室的實務工作者，將聚焦於事實查核的實務操作、科技（包括人工智慧）在打擊假訊息中的應用，以及如何透過國際合作重建媒體與公眾之間的信任。內容涵蓋主題演講、深入的專家座談與跨領域交流，期望為廣大的媒體工作者提供一個汲取更多寶貴經驗的機會，進而思考在假訊息氾濫的現在與未來，我們還能如何找出更佳的對策。

In an era where disinformation spreads rapidly and evolves continuously, global media faces unprecedented challenges to its credibility, posing severe threats to democratic institutions. Public service media, as trusted guardians of information, hold a crucial responsibility in countering disinformation and fostering meaningful public dialogue. With this mission in mind, the 2025 PTS International Symposium, themed "Rebuilding Trust: The Art and Practice of Fact-Checking", brings together experts from Taiwan and abroad to explore innovative strategies for combating disinformation.

The symposium will bring together experts and practitioners from NHK (Japan), Reporters Without Borders (RSF), the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Germany), the European Values Center for Security Policy, the Taiwan FactCheck Center, and Taiwan AI Labs. Discussions will focus on practical fact-checking techniques, the role of technology—including AI—in combating false information, and fostering international collaboration to rebuild trust between media and the public.

Through engaging speeches, insightful panel discussions, and cross-disciplinary exchanges, the symposium aims to provide media professionals with an invaluable opportunity to gain insights and reflect on how to develop more effective responses to the pervasive challenges of disinformation, both now and in the future.
