Born in 1967 in Montreal, Canada, Francois Vaillant joined CBC / Radio-Canada in 2005 after spending several years in Telecommunications and Aviation. Always at the center of a transformation project, both organizational and technological, he quickly grows within CBC. Among the important projects, his first mandate upon his arrival was to merge the maintenance groups, to initiate the migration to 16: 9 and to HD in 2005 across the country. Another large-scale project was the complete transformation of the Radio-Canada Newsroom, a 2-year project, costly and requiring very significant technical and human transformations.
During the last 5 years, as Executive Director of National Engineering, I initiated and implemented the Remote production project of Newsrooms across the country, I unified and centralized engineering under a single governance, created a National architecture group and a National project management group. All in preparation for the proposed move of the Maison de Radio-Canada, the main production and broadcasting center for French services for Country. Having convinced the organization of the implementation in IP, we are one of the world pioneers for the implementation of this technology in Broadcast. In May 2020, he left CBC / Radio-Canada to found his strategic planning consulting firm.

過去五年，作為CBC全國工程執行總監，他啟動並執行了CBC全國新聞編輯室遠端計畫，統整各工程團隊並集中於單一治理架構之下，創建了CBC全國技術治理架構與全國計畫管理團隊，這一切都是在為CBC發展做準備，讓CBC進駐蒙特婁IP製播大樓，這是加國提供法語服務的主要製播中心。CBC採用IP技術，成為廣電業者實施該技術的全球先驅之一。2020年5月，Francois離開CBC，創設自己的同名策略顧問公司。
