身處於全球數位匯流的潮浪，廣電業數位化迫在眉睫。到底臺灣的對應政策是什麼？比對於政府思維，活力十足的民間智庫可以提出什麼想法？政府面對2012年底到2013年初的無線電視數位轉換（DSO）有哪些規劃？日新月異的科技發展使得媒體服務不斷展現新面貌，臺灣業界何以應對？這些都是公共電視「2010 年國際數位電視研討會」想要探討的有趣議題。
本次研討會，公共電視很高興邀請台灣數位電視協會、英國貿易文化辦事處、經濟部通訊產業發展推動小組共同參與，一起邀請來自各國的專業好手，熱情描繪我們共通的理想，分享寶貴的經驗。因為我們相信，所有好事都源自於攜手合作與相互學習。數位的未來發展與你我息息相關，竭誠歡迎您的參與。

Taiwan is standing on the threshold of the tide of digitization. But what is the digital framework for the broadcasting industry in Taiwan while the Digital Switchover for 2013 is approaching? What are the action plans to make the most of new media? What are the digital convergence suggestions from non-government organizations? Does Taiwan have its own "Digital Taiwan Report"?

Together with British Trade & Cultural Office, UK Trade & Investment, and Digital Television Committee, the Public Television Service Foundation would like to invite you to join the Symposium to explore, share, and talk about experience and practices from various perspectives.
