August Chou

Chou had been the executive producer of Formosa News, the producer of DaAi TV and the director of Good TV. He calls himself the long-term hired labourer. He usually has to and loves to serve as the director, cinematographer, producer and photographer simultaneously for one single project. He loves underwater photography most and enjoys diving with large-sized fish freely in the deep ocean.

In recent years, Chou has taken part in many documentary productions of Discovery Channel. He has acted as the director of photography for more than ten large-scaled documentaries, including 921 Earthquake Special and Eye on Taiwan - Mando Pop Empire. The first one won the best current affairs programme and the second one was nominated for the best music programme at Asian TV Awards 2010.
