Frank Smith

Half Vietnamese and English, with a degree in classical Arabic, Frank is partner and Head of Business Development at Singapore company Infocus Asia PTE. He has worked as an award-winning director all over the world for National Geographic, Discovery, BBC and other broadcasters. Frank’s shows have been nominated for and won multiple awards – including 4 at the Asian TV Awards 2009 and 5 at the Asian TV Awards 2008. His work for the BBC includes The Killer Wave, nominated for an RTS in 2004, Dowry Cops, nominated for Amnesty’s Documentary of the year 2004, License to Kill which won the RTS Documentary of the year 2000 and Sloba & Mira, was nominated for the 1999 RTS and BAFTA Current Affairs awards.
