從事新聞工作超過二十年，歷任新聞主播、記者、國際新聞編譯、紀錄片導演、節目製作人、新聞總編輯等職務；榮獲國內外眾多新聞獎項。並曾擔任公廣集團華視新聞部經理、國立台灣大學新聞研究所兼任助理教授。
2018年擔任台灣事實查核中心首任總編審，任內通過IFCN國際事實查核聯盟認證。2022年9月至今擔任台灣人工智慧實驗室內容執行長，並兼任教育部媒體素養推動會委員、公視董事、華視董事，同時在國立教育廣播電台每週日主持以提升科技資訊媒體素養為主題的節目-新聞真假掰。
ChaoHwei Huang has been in journalism for over 20 years, serving as a news anchor, reporter, international news translator, documentary director, program producer, and editor-in-chief. She has received numerous domestic and international journalism awards. She previously served as News Department Manager at CTS (Chinese Television System) and an adjunct assistant professor at the Graduate Institute of Journalism, National Taiwan University.
In 2018, she became the first Editor-in-Chief of the Taiwan FactCheck Center, where she led the organization to receive certification from the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN). Since September 2022, she has served as the Chief Content Officer at Taiwan AI Labs and holds additional roles as a board member at PTS (Public Television Service) and CTS. She is also a member of the Ministry of Education’s Media Literacy Promotion Committee. Additionally, she hosts the weekly radio program "Bye Fake News" on the National Education Radio, focusing on enhancing media literacy in the digital age.
