邱家宜女士是一位與媒體相關之非政府組織的領導者，目前擔任台灣事實查核中心（TFC）執行長。她曾經是一位資深且屢獲殊榮的記者，也是一位傳播史研究者，擁有傳播博士學位。在其媒體相關職業生涯中，除了教學，邱女士也為台灣政府部門和媒體產業提供相關諮詢、貢獻她豐富的專業知識與見解。
在加入TFC之前，她曾擔任「卓越新聞獎基金會」的執行長近二十年，該基金會每年給獎傑出新聞工作者，是台灣新聞專業的標竿。她曾於2016年至2022年，擔任台灣公共電視及華視董事。
她認為協助組織進行數位轉型至關重要，包括推行新技術以及調整相關流程與架構，以促進創新和效率。在本次的研討會上，她將分享自己的經驗和想法，盼能和與會人士討論如何有效利用AI來打造新聞業的未來。
Eve Chiu is a media-related NGO worker and researcher of communication history. She works as the CEO of Taiwan Fact Check Center (TFC). With a doctoral degree in communication and as a veteran, award-winning journalist. Chiu has contributed her extensive expertise in both teaching and consulting. In her media-related career, Chiu has provided invaluable insights to Taiwanese government departments and the media industry alike.
Before TFC, she served as CEO of The Foundation for Excellent Journalism Award for nearly two decades, which awards outstanding journalism every year. She was on the Board of Taiwan Public TV from 2016-2022.
