How to Tackle Misinformation in the Field of Civic Education in Times of Changing Discursive Power
Marion Bacher現任德國聯邦政治教育中心（bpb）專案經理暨編輯。德國聯邦政治教育中心是致力於強化公民社會的聯邦公共機構，透過多元的教育活動，推廣民主意識與政治參與。作為一名記者，Marion曾為奧地利公共廣播公司與德國週刊《時代週報》（Die Zeit）等德語媒體報導歐洲、中東與美國的社會與外交政策。自2014年克里米亞被併吞後，她的研究重心逐漸轉向應對錯假訊息的挑戰。
她曾於柏林與敖德薩舉辦有關假訊息的交流活動與培訓，並發行了一部從國際視角了解假訊息的播客（podcast）。2023年，她與首爾、東京與台北的歌德學院合作，研究東亞國家如何處理假訊息，並共同製作了8集漫畫系列《追尋謠言的蹤跡》，探討創新的媒體素養方法。
Marion Bacher currently works for the Federal Agency for Civic Education/bpb (Germany), a federal public authority committed to strengthening civil society and providing a broad range of educational activities designed to promote awareness of democracy and participation in politics. As journalist she covered social affairs and foreign policy in Europe, the Middle East and the US for German-speaking media outlets like the Austrian Public Broadcaster or the German weekly “Die Zeit”. Since the annexation of Crimea in 2014 her research focus shifted more towards tackling mis- and disinformation. Among other projects she organized networking events and trainings on disinformation in Berlin and Odessa and published a podcast on the global perspective of disinformation. In cooperation with the Goethe-Institutes in Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei she researched the response of East Asian countries towards mis- and disinformation in 2023 and co-produced the 8-part-manga-series “On the trail of rumors” on innovative media literacy approaches.
