自2022年8月出任公共電視總經理以來，徐秋華推動多項重要革新計畫，大幅提升公視在國際舞台上的能見度與影響力。在其領導下，公視推出TaiwanPlus——臺灣首個提供英語新聞與優質臺灣內容的國際串流平台。此外，亦成功促成享譽國際的2023年世界公視大展（INPUT）在臺灣舉辦，吸引來自30個國家、超過300位媒體專業人士共襄盛舉，寫下疫情後首次重返實體活動的重要里程碑。
秉持深化國際合作的理念，徐秋華積極鼓勵與全球重要公共廣播機構建立策略夥伴關係，包括日本放送協會（NHK）、法國電視台（France Télévisions）、德國電視二台（ZDF）和新加坡新傳媒（Mediacorp）等，成功促成公視從紀錄片到戲劇等多元類型的國際合製專案。徐秋華在其任內帶領公視持續突破創新，成長為深具公信力的國際媒體合作夥伴與重要的公共服務媒體。
本次國際研討會中，徐秋華將就重建信任與打擊假訊息等議題分享見解。這些核心議題不僅是當前全球公共媒體面臨的重要挑戰，更與公視的使命相呼應：提供可信且多元的媒體內容、服務公共利益。
Since assuming the presidency of Public Television Service (PTS) Taiwan in August 2022, Cindy Shyu has spearheaded transformative initiatives that have significantly expanded PTS's global presence. Under her leadership, PTS launched TaiwanPlus, Taiwan's first international streaming platform delivering English-language news and premium Taiwanese content. She also successfully brought the prestigious 2023 International Public Television Conference (INPUT) to Taiwan, gathering over 300 media professionals from 30 countries in its milestone return to in-person events post-pandemic.
Championing international collaboration, Cindy has fostered strategic partnerships with leading public broadcasters worldwide, including NHK (Japan), France Télévisions, ZDF (Germany), and Mediacorp (Singapore). These collaborations have yielded compelling co-productions across various genres, from groundbreaking documentaries to innovative dramas. Her vision continues to drive PTS's evolution as a trusted global media partner and vital public service media.
As President of PTS Taiwan, the host organization of the 2025 PTS International Symposium, Cindy will contribute to discussions on rebuilding trust and combating disinformation - critical challenges that align with PTS's core mission of delivering credible, diverse media content to serve the public interest.
