 After the site visit of INPUT International Board Meeting in Taipei last September, we finalized the venue to be The Taipei International Convention Center.
The Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) is located in the Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC). It is designed to meet the requirements of international conference organizers with state-of-the-art facilities. It is situated in Taipei's newly developed XinYi District , where you can find the city hall, city council (lower house of the parliament), shopping malls and various corporate headquarter buildings, including Taipei 101. All function rooms of INPUT 2006 will be located on the 1st and 2nd floor of TICC.

Opening Night Reception: Eslite Xinyi Bookstore
The Opening Night Reception will be held at the newly open Eslite Xinyi Booksotre , Asia's biggest bookstore. ( 6F, Eslite Bookstore, Xin-Yi Anchor Store. Add: 6F, 11, Song-Gao Rd. Taipei ) .
The U Theatre
At the opening reception , Taiwan's top performing group the U Theatre will come to celebrate the event with us. The U Theatre was founded in 1988 in Taipei, Taiwan by the now Artistic Director, Ms. Ruoyu Liu. On the whole, the U Theatre's performance features a combination of music, martial arts, and dramatic elements. In addition, the “humble walks” that the U People have taken all over the world are intended to reconnect the U People's selves with the land. Meditation and tai-chi, on the other hand, help the U People garner the greatest inner power so that they can get rid of external constraints and return to a selfless state. This way, while conducting martial arts, the U People will be able to let out the most primitive energies from their inside. In the midst of roaring drumbeats, a therapeutic purging force is thus born. This is the state of “having dao and art in one” that the U Theatre has long sought to achieve.

In addition to the fabulous food prepared by Grand Hotel’s chefs, there will also be several food stands that will teach you how to make the traditional cakes and candies.
